Well-versed popping dancers meet in a supercharged atmosphere of exchange, confrontation and adrenaline. Hosted by an MC, powered by a DJ, and adjudicated by a jury, the battle consists of a series of competitions of solo dance, improvised according to strict guidelines.

JOAT Festival international de street dance is an annual event that offers a week of festivities, activities and performances in Montreal - at Place des Arts and in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles. On the program: high level battles,Bbreaking, Popping, Hip Hop, Krump, beatmakers, KidzBattle, street dance initiation workshops, master classes, exhibition! An opportunity for the public from all backgrounds to discover some of the Afro-American dances that have become popular around the world.
