JOAT FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE STREET DANCE

The battle brings together street dance artists in an atmosphere of exchange, competition, and adrenaline. 

Improvising in real time, breakdancers, hip hop dancers, and popping dancers from around the world take turns challenging each other with creativity and daring, following strict rules. 

Hosted by an MC, powered by a DJ, and judged by a panel, this event promises an electrifying evening.

JOAT Festival international de street dance is an annual event that offers a week of festivities, activities and performances in Montreal - at Place des Arts and in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles. On the program: high level battles,Breaking, Popping, Hip Hop, Krump, beatmakers, KidzBattle, street dance initiation workshops, master classes, exhibition! An opportunity for the public from all backgrounds to discover some of the Afro-American dances that have become popular around the world.
